About Me

 

I'm Karly, a Board-Certified Holistic Registered Nurse (HNB-BC) and Reiki Master Teacher with nearly two decades of experience in high-acuity healthcare and integrative healing.  ​

I began my nursing career in pediatric emergency medicine and spent many years serving as a travel nurse on short-term, high need assignments-- an experience that deepened my clinical judgement, adaptability, and ability to stay calm in intense circumstances.  Over time I felt pulled toward a deeper kind of support.  While working in a San Diego children's hospital, I was introduced to Healing Touch as a form of integrative support for both oncology patients and stressed medical staff.  It was one of the first times that I witnessed how profound therapeutic and energetic touch can be, both to the nervous system of the body, and to the whole person (body mind and spirit).  That experience opened a lifelong path of studying therapeutic energy work.

Today, through In Flow Reiki & Wellness in Northwest Arkansas, I provide Reiki sessions, sound healing, and Reiki education.  I am currently undergoing CranioSacral Therapy training (2025 with Jon Ray and 2026 at the Upledger Institute).  My work blends grounded nursing presence with subtle energy practices to support deep relaxation, stress recovery, emotional balance, and spiritual well-being.

Outside of sessions, I'm a mother, artist, and lifelong student of mindfulness and healing-- and I believe deeply in the power of rest, nature, and the body's wisdom.  I also love practices that create flow and aliveness in the body, including movement, dance, creative expression, and time in nature.

My sessions are calm, professional, and deeply restorative.  Clients often come to me when they feel depleted, overwhelmed, emotionally "stuck," or disconnected from themselves-- and want support that goes beyond conventional methods.
